You must be trying to find a place, where you can do shopping with experiencing the cultural stuff. And the place that offers you a large variety of food. Well if this is desire then this place is all you need. Yes, you have heard it right Dilli Haat not to be confused with Delhi Haat. It is the place that gives you all round entertainment and an opportunity to fulfill your desire of shopping. Dilli Haat is an open air food plaza and a craft bazaar.

Delhi Haat Location, Timing & Entry Fee


There are 3 prime Dilli Haats in Delhi.

They are Dilli Haat Ina market, Dilli Haat pitampura and Dilli Haat janakpuri.

You can find the one nearby you and swing by there. Delhi Haat INA market is easily convenient by INA metro station, if you take the bus just deport on Ina bus stop.

Pitampura Dilli Haat is very close to netaji subhash place metro station and wazeerpur bus stop.

And for Janakpuri, deport on Janakpuri east metro station or Tilak nagar metro station. The place is open from 10 am to 10 pm all seven days of the week. I would suggest you to go there in evening and avoid afternoon.

The place charges a little entry fee Rs. 10 for children, 30 for adult and 100 for foreigner.

Spread in 6 acres the bazaar contains thatched roof cottages that give it a village look. Some shops are permanent but some are on the rotational basis and allotted only for 15 days.

So after each 15 days new shops arrive to replace the old one and you have new stuff to browse through. In the middle of the bazaar stated the exhibition hall where a number of exhibitions are organized to promote the artwork.

The place is famous for the rosewood cravings and the sandalwood artwork is one of the top focuses in the bazaar.
